We are excited to announce that we are providing two new technologies to your parish, at no expense to you. These tools will greatly benefit your parish, save time and money, and increase your ability as a pastor to easily engage and build relationships with your parishioners.- New and improved website - We're providing you with a beautiful, mobile-responsive website solution that will give you a top-notch, easy-to-update presence on the web. This will put every parish on a standardized system, but still allow you to have a completely customized and personalized web presence for your parish. (Provided by eCatholic.)
- Simple, powerful communication tool - We're also giving you the ability to easily gather all of your parishioner contact info and then communicate with them through beautiful email newsletters, quick text messages and more. This will give parishes a consistent communication hub and interface for all ministry and parish activity, while also simplifying communication across the entire archdiocese. (Provided by Flocknote.)

With the forthcoming announcement for our pastoral planning process, Making All Things New, we have decided to accelerate our planned roll-out of Flocknote (with your new website from eCatholic to follow in the coming months). This will enable parishes and the Archdiocese to start benefitting from Flocknote immediately — making it simple and easy for both pastors and the Archdiocese to share regular updates about what is happening, keeping misinformation or misunderstandings to a minimum.
By Monday, September 29, 2014 – we need you to provide the following information:- Contact info of the person at your parish that will be in charge of implementing your new communication system - Flocknote “Champion.
- Contact info of the person at your parish that will be in charge of implementing your new website – eCatholic “Champion.”
These Champions can be two separate people or the same person for both initiatives. These crucial roles are absolutely necessary to the success of this project and they will act as the primary liaison for your parish throughout the process.The Champions need to be:
- Empowered and authorized by you (pastor) to help implement Flocknote and eCatholic at your parish.
- Committed to and capable of helping all of your ministries (and leaders) get started (after learning these simple tools).
- Able to act as the main contact for your parish during launch.
- Responsible for leading your parish through the launch steps on schedule.

Again, please respond by entering these key contacts online by September 22, 2014. We’ll be starting the process for Flocknote the following week by reaching out to the Flocknote “Champions” directly with further instructions and assistance.
